Before Requesting an Estimate
Please include:
- Your property address.
- Whether your backyard is fenced. If so, the gate opening must be at least 43 inches wide. I no longer use a push mower, so I cannot service areas that my mower cannot access.
Before Your Scheduled Service
Please make sure to:
- Pick up and put away toys, tools, hoses, decorations, pet items, trash, and any other loose objects in the yard.
- Secure pets before service begins.
How to Get an Instant Price Estimate
If you’re ready to book, measure your property and enter the total square footage when requesting service. I will be out within 48 hours, usually, unless heavy workload already or weather permits. Right now, I service within 20 miles of ZIP code 31501; after that, there is a travel charge.
Minimum service charge: $20.00
How to Measure Your Property
- Go to maps.google.com.
- Enter your property address.
- Zoom in until your property is clearly visible.
- Right-click on one corner of your property and select Measure distance.
- Click each corner of your property until you’ve outlined the entire lot.
- Google Maps will display the Total Area.
Example: If Google Maps shows 10,926 square feet, enter 10,926 as the quantity when requesting your estimate.
Obstacles and Additional Charges
The estimate assumes a reasonably open yard.
An additional $0.50 per obstacle may be charged for excessive trimming around items such as:
- Trees (beyond the first couple)
- Bushes
- Signs
- Fire hydrants
- Flower beds and landscape features
- Outdoor furniture
- Vehicles
- Wood piles
- Garbage piles
- Play equipment
- Other objects that require extra trimming
Standard trimming around your home, fence line, and one or two trees is included in the regular mowing price.
Cleanup
After mowing, I will blow grass clippings off the driveway, sidewalks, and street back onto your lawn.
Leaving grass clippings on the lawn helps return nutrients to the soil as they naturally decompose, promoting a healthier lawn.
Mowing Height
The shortest cutting height I offer is 3 inches.
