Description

Does your lawn have bare spots?  How about a tree with above-ground roots.  How about low spots or ruts in the yard?

Scott’s Lawn Care can fill it in with 1 bag of topsoil and seed.  In the meantime, it will take anywhere from 5-30 days for this grass seed to germinate, which is why you will want to be on the lookout for birds in order to make sure that they don’t eat the seed that you’ve laid down. It’s possible to place some reflective tape over the area in order to keep the birds out, although this should only be used if you notice that birds are becoming a nuisance.

The product could be substituted for a number of reasons.

Just 1 bear spot in the lawn, enter 1.  If your area will need 15 bags, enter 15, and so on.

Eliminate the Causes of Bare Spots for Future Prevention

If you want to greatly reduce the number of times you need to repair bare spots on your lawn in the future, it’s heavily recommended that you also eliminate some of the causes that can lead to these spots. Heavy foot traffic is one of the easiest causes to curtail, as all you need to do is find a way to avoid walking in this area as often. Consider installing a gravel pathway in the area if it’s impossible to keep foot traffic off of that spot. Other causes could include disease, drought, insect infestation, or an influx of weeds in a small area. If you can identify the cause before the next growing season, you can plant the solution necessary to prevent the problem from reoccurring.

Enter the qty of at least 5.  If that is not enough; you can order more on the next service and keep repeating that until all the roots are covered.

Ruts in the yard from a vehicle or some other object that has disturbed the look of your yard.  Probably start with 5 bags of topsoil and again if that is not enough, order more on your next service until it is gone.  What we will do with this is take down the tire tracks, put in the topsoil, seed it, and then put some topsoil on top of the grass seed and watch it grow.  You will be able to mow it in about 30 days.  What you might want to do is buy some boulders and place them about 10 feet apart or a 4×4 fence post to put along your yard next to the street.
