How to set up a family reunion

1. Create a Google Forum where everybody can communicate. https://groups.google.com/forum/#!creategroup
2. Send out a letter via email to all your family members and a letter to the rest. What should be on their is your name, address, email and the google forum web address.

Hello family members,

I want to set up a family reunion. We all should help setting this up.
1. Where should it be held? It should be central to most of the family. House back yard, park or the beach?
2. When should it be held? Would assume sometime in the summer while people are on school break and/or vacation time.
3. Food; Everybody should bring a main dish; hamburgers, hot dogs, etc and a dish or two. Everybody should bring their own beverages; beer, soda, tea. Just a note keep it safe in a hot car and keep everything on ice.

Talk to other family members and give them the google forum address so they can contribute.

When setting up the tables, place the tables in a cross and not just long ways in one line. Everybody should be able to communicate with everybody else.

Lastly don’t be an attention hog; let everybody contribute and voice their opinions and try to finalise the best time and place to have the event. Not everybody can make it, for the people who could not attend have the party close to the other people at next years event.

Hire a photographer to take a photograph; taller people in the back to smaller kids in the front.
